The Dubroom reviews a lot of different material, from musical to educational to beneficial and more. We've got music, but also material for artists and producers as well as researchers of more conscious material. As always, when the Dubroom reviews something, this means that this website considers the material at least fair. So don't expect any negative reviews. When it's here, we recommend it. Period.

IREGGAE.com
DUBROOM WEBSITE REVIEW

WWW, February 2007 - Try to describe IREGGAE.com in one sentence, and you will keep trying for the rest of your life.

The website has been around almost since the start of a public Internet, continually expanding with the result that IREGGAE.com has now become one of the most complete portals to Reggae Music online.

A portal which doesn't only contain links to other sites, but actually has a lot of contents in itself, too.

What to say about the 100's of hours of Real Audio with interviews, music, radio shows, concerts and reasonings with the top of the crème of Reggae Music?

Their SOUND STATION could very well become your favorite source of streaming Reggae, both live and on-demand. And that's separate from their weekly broadcast "The Uprising", that is. And mind you, they have been doing this year after year after year.

What to say about their Video pages, where you can find new material on a weekly basis, or about their album reviews that come, surprise surprise, completely with sounds as well?

With an emphasis on contemporary Reggae rather than historical material, IREGGAE.com is an often consulted website when it comes to news items related to Reggae Music.

By the way: the website hosts the Ifficial homepages of Dub Poet Mutabaruka, as well as Roots Dancehall vocalist Anthony B.

And with that, we touch upon another aspect of the website, which we at the Dubroom always applaud: Consciousness. It's not just about the music, it's just as much about the movement of Rastafari.

This is important, even for those people who do not feel like they have any relationship with Rastafari. For the Movement of Rastafari continues to be one of the most influential streams within Reggae Music.

And that's IREGGAE.com: A contemporary portal into Reggae Music with Word, Sound and Power!
